Introduction Page
- Posture, embouchure and general set up and care of the instrument are outlined on this page to get the students set up for a great start.
Rhythm pages
- The rhtyhm pages can be referred to at any time that a new rhythm is introduced to the band. The score is clearly marked each a new rhythm is introduced and the conductor can quickly direct the students to the right excercise.
- These exercises can be clapped or played on the instruments to work on tuning and developing a good balance within the band.
- A second page of rhythms is found at the end of the book. This is a collection of the different rhythmic concepts that are introduced through the tunes used. This is useful to take the students away from the music and purely focus on rhythm.
- Rhythmic layering exercises can also be created with combinations of these rhythms together.
Play-along tracks
- Our play-along tracks feature a full live wind symphony playing so that the student can develop their aural awareness of this unique and exciting sound. Use our CD or download free mp3 tracks of the entire CD.
